Let’s see what the output of the program looks like:

We can see that the mole fractions are propane = 0.071, butane = 0.183, pentane = 0.310 and hexane = 0.435 and they (whew!) add up to 1.0 which is a good sign. We calculate α = 0.1219 and Rosen and Adams calculate α = 0.1219. I would say that is pretty close, even for government work! I don’t know which I’ll post next, come back and find out.
